At Kindred Family Care, I am committed to ensuring that this website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. I am continuously working to improve the experience and I welcome feedback. What this site does

This site is built to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. In practice that means:

• Keyboard navigation. Every link, button, form field and expandable answer can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, in a logical order. A “Skip to content” link is the first item in the tab order on every page.
• Visible focus. The element you are on is always marked with a clear outline and ring. Focus styling is never removed.
• Colour contrast. Body text, headings, links and button labels are all checked against their actual backgrounds and meet or exceed the AA thresholds. Colour is never the only way information is conveyed.
• Text alternatives. Meaningful images and marks carry accessible names; purely decorative artwork is hidden from screen readers rather than read aloud as noise.
• Structure. Pages use real headings in order, real lists, real tables with header cells, and landmark regions, so a screen reader can navigate by structure.
• Forms. Every field has a visible, associated label and its hint text is programmatically linked to it.
• Reduced motion. The site has no scroll animations, counters or parallax. The small amount of hover movement it does have is switched off entirely when your device asks for reduced motion.
• Zoom and reflow. Text can be enlarged and the layout reflows to a single column on small screens without loss of content or horizontal scrolling.
• Readability. Body text is set at 18px with generous line height and a limited line length, which matters more than usual here because the articles are long.

Known limitations

The scheduling portal and patient portal are provided by SimplePractice, and the out-of-network benefits checker is provided by Thrizer. Those are third-party services on their own domains and their accessibility is not under my control. If you hit a barrier in one of them, contact me and I will help you complete whatever you were trying to do by phone or email instead.
